Driver rules & responsibilities
- Transport products, materials, and staff securely to areas where they are needed
- Guarantee that products and staff are protected and secured
- Ensure timely conveyance of staff and materials to and from places as instructed by supervisor or the manager
- Recognize electrical and mechanical faults and report to the employer or technician
- Report any instance of mishap or accident to the dispatcher or supervisor
- Perform periodic maintenance on vehicles, such as changing batteries and motor oil at appropriate time, as well as refueling the car(s).
- Report any case of accident, injury or damage of vehicles to the supervisor or manager
- Keep all records, including receipts for vehicle maintenance
A/C Technician rules & responsibilities
- Read blueprints and follow design specifications for installing an HVAC system
- Properly connect the HVAC systems to supply lines and install the necessary electrical wiring.
- Understand how the entire heating and air-conditioning systems function.
- Know how to follow government regulations
- Evaluate job-related safety hazards and employ accident prevention techniques.
- Use testing equipment in order to detect malfunctioning parts, and identify necessary repairs.
- Use all types of tools.
- Troubleshoot. Although installing systems is a major part of the job description of a HVAC technician, identifying problems in non-working systems is another part. An HVAC technician who can quickly and accurately detect and repair the problem is very sought after.
- Communicate effectively.
- As a HVAC chiller technician, you will be responsible for diagnosis, maintenance, repairs, overhauls and operation of all electro/mechanical systems and equipment for commercial chiller systems. This would include HVAC and emergency equipment and controls, fan and blowers including troubleshooting of motors, fan coils, VAV’s heat exchangers, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air conditioning and pumps etc for water and reciprocation, air cooled chillers; helical screws and centrifugal equipment.
