Driver Dispatcher ( Full Bilingual English / Spanish)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating the movement of freight, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining efficient communication between drivers and clients. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze data effectively to optimize dispatch operations.

Duties

• Manage daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and efficient routing of shipments.
• Utilize software systems such as AS400 and Oracle Transportation Management for data entry and tracking.
• Analyze shipping and receiving data to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with drivers to provide updates on delivery schedules and address any issues that arise during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of freight movements, including documentation for 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) services.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure alignment on delivery timelines and inventory management.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to shipment status and logistics.

Requirements

• Proven experience in dispatching or a related field within the logistics industry.
• Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail; familiarity with AS400 is preferred.
• Knowledge of freight operations, shipping, receiving, and supply chain processes.
• Experience with Oracle Transportation Management or similar dispatch software is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills to assess operational performance and implement improvements.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with drivers, clients, and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
