Job Title: NEMT / Specialty Driver (Hospital-Based, KC Area)

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Kansas City, KS (On-site at local hospital)
Our office location is in Lee’s Summit. You will report to our office for interviewing and training (2-3 weeks). After training is completed, you will move to your regularly scheduled location in Kansas City, KS. Schedule availability varies between a Monday–Friday schedule and a Tuesday–Saturday schedule.

Job Description
We are hiring dependable NEMT / Specialty Drivers for a hospital-based position in Kansas City, KS. This role is stationary at one local hospital, providing consistent transport services as part of a two-person team on a set schedule.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely to appointments and within/for the hospital
• Assist with ambulatory, wheelchair, stretcher, and specialty transport
• Deliver professional, respectful customer service
• Stay on schedule and communicate with dispatch and your teammate

Requirements

• Must be 23 years or older
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Prior driving experience required
• Ability to lift and assist passengers
• Smartphone required
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Pre-Employment Screening (Required)

• Criminal background check
• Drug & alcohol screening (including marijuana)
• Physical examination

Preferred (Not Required)

• NEMT, medical transport, or healthcare experience
• Behavioral health experience
