Duties

• Assist drivers with loading and unloading freight, equipment, or passengers using tools such as pallet jacks or manual handling techniques
• Support vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with operational standards
• Help coordinate route deliveries or shuttle services by providing navigation support and ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles including trucks, buses, or vans
• Communicate effectively with team members and drivers to relay important information about routes or delivery schedules
• Support in moving cargo or equipment within warehouses or yard areas safely and efficiently
• Assist with securing loads on flatbeds, tanker trucks, or heavy equipment transport vehicles as needed

Requirements

• Prior experience in delivery driving, shuttle driving, or warehouse operations is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle operation including manual transmission, forklift operation, or heavy haul is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items, moving cargo, or operating pallet jacks and hand trucks
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and safety compliance
• Mechanical knowledge of trucks, buses, or other heavy equipment is advantageous
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with route driving or school bus driving is beneficial
• Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on operational needs
