Driver/ Helper for HVAC

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver/Helper to join our HVAC service team. In this dynamic role, you will assist with the transportation, installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Your energetic attitude and mechanical aptitude will contribute to delivering top-notch service to our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems, plumbing, and property maintenance while supporting our skilled technicians. A valid driver’s license and a proactive approach are essential for success in this role.

Work schedule consists of nine days followed by three days off. Technician will pick up driver from Alexandria, VA. Work locations vary from local jobs to jobs in Buffalo, NY to jobs in North Carolina. Food and lodging will be covered by the company.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport HVAC equipment, tools, and materials to job sites
• Assist HVAC technicians with installation, repair, and maintenance of air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, and boiler system and duct cleaning
• Load and unload equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols

Qualifications

• Lives in the DMV area
• Must have a valid driver’s license to drive in the U.S. Vehicle is provided.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a driver preferred
• Prior experience in construction, service technician roles, or property maintenance is highly desirable
• Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus but is not required
• Mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, equipment repair, welding, or boiler maintenance is a plus
• Strong field service skills with the ability to follow safety procedures
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude toward teamwork and customer service
