Job Summary:
 

As a Light Vehicle Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating light vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and personnel. Your role will be essential to ensuring timely deliveries and supporting the company’s operational efficiency.
 

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Operate light vehicles, including pickup trucks and vans, for transporting goods, materials, and personnel.
• Follow scheduled routes, driving safely and adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Regularly inspect and maintain vehicles, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
• Load and unload goods and materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
• Adhere to safety protocols, especially when handling hazardous materials.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
   

Qualifications:
 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a light vehicle driver.
• Knowledge of driving rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions accurately.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair is a plus.
