About the Role:

As our Driver Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our drivers — bridging the gap between the road and our operations, safety, and leadership teams. Your responsibilities include:

• Building strong, trust-based relationships with drivers through regular check-ins, issue resolution, and genuine support.
• Coordinating with dispatch to ensure drivers receive timely, fair load assignments while maximizing utilization and minimizing downtime.
• Monitoring ELD logs daily for HOS compliance and coaching drivers on proper log management and DOT requirements.
• Reviewing driver scorecards (speed, braking, idling, fuel efficiency) and providing documented, timely coaching and corrective action.
• Serving as a dedicated point of contact for new drivers through their first 90 days — ensuring onboarding is smooth and nothing falls through the cracks.
• Tracking driver performance, flagging turnover risk early, and reporting trends to Safety and Operations leadership weekly.

Ideal Candidate:

We're looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in a driver-facing transportation role — driver manager, fleet manager, or dispatcher (3+ years preferred).
• Knowledgeable in FMCSA HOS regulations, ELD systems, and DOT compliance basics.
• A calm, solutions-oriented communicator who can de-escalate tension and resolve conflict with professionalism.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple drivers and situations simultaneously without dropping the ball.
• Comfortable working in a TMS and familiar with platforms like Samsara or KeepTruckin.
• Accountable, consistent, and someone drivers can genuinely count on.

What We Offer:

• Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 based on experience.
• Monthly performance bonus — $100 per truck based on KPIs (driver utilization, retention, compliance, and coaching targets).
