Driver Non-Emergency Medical Transport

LED Transportation is seeking responsible and compassionate individuals to join our team in non-emergency medical transportation services. As a driver, you would be involved in transporting individuals safely and efficiently to scheduled appointments and assisting individuals with disabilities to and from adult day programs and work sites.

Positions Available:

• Part-time Driver (Monday-Friday; 4 hours/day)
• Morning Shift > 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM
• Afternoon Shift > 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• Part-time Driver (Thursday-Saturday)
• Full-time opportunities may be available.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport individuals to scheduled appointments, adult day programs, and work sites.
• Assist individuals entering/exiting vehicles and secure wheelchairs and mobility devices properly for transport.
• Follow scheduled pick-up and drop-off times while maintaining punctuality.
• Maintain a friendly and respectful atmosphere for all passengers
• Communicate clearly with individuals, caregivers, and staff.
• Maintain accurate records of trips and promptly report any incidents.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any vehicle issues.
• Availability for at least one weekend a month.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Must be 25 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must pass a background check and possible drug and alcohol screening
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must enjoy working with others

Compensation:

• Pay is based on experience
• 90-day probationary period
• Paid training
