Driver Non-Emergency Medical Transport and Non-Medical Transport

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver for Non-Emergency Medical Transport services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting clients to and from medical appointments, adult daycare programs and/or work ensuring comfort and timely service. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong customer service abilities, and a commitment to safety and vehicle maintenance. The Driver will play a vital role in supporting our community by providing dependable transportation for individuals with transportation needs.

Part-time or Full-time opportunities available for Monday through Friday during the hours 7:00 am to 8:00 pm also have morning and afternoon shifts. Interested in only certain days of week that is an open option as well.

Duties

• Safely operate vehicles such specialized transport vans to pick up and drop off passengers
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, including those with mobility challenges
• Ensure the cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles to adhere to safety standards
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation routes
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, passengers and healthcare facilities
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and passenger details
• Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, respectful, and attentive to passenger needs
• Use smart phone with dispatcing scheduling software

Experience

• Must be 23 Years of age or older
• CPR certification or willing to go to certification course
• Previous shuttle driving, delivery driver experience, or bus driving background preferred
• Experience in Paratransit or non-emergency medical transportation is a plus
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to ensure safety and reliability of transport vehicles
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
