Food Hub Delivery Driver
About the Role
The Hmong American Farmers Association (HAFA) is hiring a Seasonal Delivery Driver to deliver fresh produce to customers and CSA sites across the metro area.
This is a hands-on, physical job. You will be loading and unloading produce, driving a 16-foot refrigerated box truck, and helping with packing tasks when not on deliveries.
This position runs from March through the end of the growing season (November).
Pay & Schedule
- $20.00 per hour
- 32–40 hours per week
- 9am-5:30pm, Monday–Friday schedule (occasional long days during peak season)
- End-of-season retention bonus available
What You’ll Do
- Drive a 16-foot refrigerated box truck to delivery sites
- Load and unload produce at the farm and customer locations
- Use pallet jacks and lift gates
- Help with packing, cleaning, and food hub tasks on non-delivery days
- Keep the truck clean and report maintenance needs
Work Conditions
- Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
- Working outdoors in hot, cold, or rainy weather
- Fast-paced, physical tasks - standing, walking, and lifting for most of the shift
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (No special license required)
- Satisfactory driving record
- Able to pass DOT medical exam (paid by employer)
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to the farm
- Dependable and on time
