Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Driver Recruiter to join our team for the evening shift. In this role, you will engage with CDL driver applicants, guiding them through the full hiring process from initial contact to onboarding and ensuring a smooth, efficient experience.

This position requires quick response times to new applicants, strong communication skills, and the ability to present our company positively and professionally to attract top talent.

Currently, morning recruiting is handled by another team member. This role will take full ownership of the evening shift, ensuring consistent coverage, timely follow-up, and ongoing communication with applicants.

This is an entry-level position. No prior recruiting experience is required; only a strong work ethic and an interest in working with drivers in the transportation industry are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Source CDL drivers through job boards, referrals, and direct outreach
• Respond promptly to driver inquiries and follow up on leads
• Conduct phone screenings and interviews
• Coordinate travel and orientation for new hires
• Manage the onboarding process from application to hire
• Maintain accurate and organized applicant records
• Support basic HR and administrative tasks
• Manage multiple candidates and tasks simultaneously
• Communicate effectively with diverse candidates via phone and in person
• Utilize basic computer tools (email, spreadsheets, data entry)

Pay: $48,746.63 - $58,705.62 per year
