Driver – Senior Transportation Services

Gares Senior Concierge (GSC) is seeking a reliable and compassionate Driver to support transportation services for residents at 55+ Community in Cherry Hill, NJ.

This role focuses exclusively on safe, reliable transportation for seniors.

Drivers will assist residents with transportation to:

• Medical appointments
• Grocery stores and errands
• Social activities
• Personal appointments
• Local outings and events

This role requires patience, professionalism, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service for seniors.

Key Responsibilities

Transportation Services

• Safely transport residents to appointments, errands, and local destinations.
• Provide door-to-door transportation support.
• Assist residents entering and exiting vehicles as needed.
• Ensure residents arrive safely and on time.

Resident Assistance

• Provide courteous assistance to seniors during transport.
• Assist with light items such as groceries or personal bags.
• Maintain a calm, respectful, and patient demeanor with residents.

Vehicle Operations

• Operate personal vehicles safely.
• Maintain clean and professional vehicle condition.
• Follow all traffic and safety regulations.
• Conduct basic vehicle safety checks before each shift.

Scheduling & Communication

• Follow transportation schedules coordinated by the Concierge Manager.
• Communicate any delays or issues promptly.
• Document completed trips as required by company procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Minimum 7 years driving experience
• Ability to assist seniors safely entering/exiting vehicle
• Strong punctuality and reliability
• Professional demeanor and customer service orientation
• Ability to pass background check and driving record review

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving seniors or individuals with mobility limitations
• Experience in transportation, caregiving, or hospitality roles
• Familiarity with Cherry Hill and surrounding areas

Work Environment

• Primarily serving 55+ Community residents in Cherry Hill
• Local transportation within Cherry Hill and surrounding communities
• Flexible scheduling based on resident demand
