How You’ll Work
Location: Onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA (201 1st St SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401)
Schedule: 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday - Saturday and e/o Wednesday.
Training: Two weeks Monday-Friday from 9am to 6pm
Compensation: This pay scale represents a good faith estimate of the fixed rate the company reasonably expects to pay upon hire for this position: $17.50 per hour. This rate is non-negotiable and applies uniformly to all candidates selected for this role.
Incentives: Eligible for performance-based bonus or commission programs, as applicable.

Job Summary: Ensuring the safety and compliance of an organization with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards is crucial. Safety and compliance professionals play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating risks, developing and implementing safety programs, and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. They conduct risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and develop strategies to mitigate risks. Additionally, they provide training to employees on safety protocols, investigate accidents or incidents, and ensure compliance.
Day in the Job Preview: As a Driver Services Coordinator your primary role is to handle accident calls. You will be responsible for answering promptly and gather necessary details while ensuring drivers remain calm. You will provide the information you collect to the appropriate parties for next steps. Additionally, you manage roadside inspection calls and transfer information to the VRT department for further action. When not on the phone you will conduct investigations into hours of service violations and provide support to drivers during their training sessions.
