Overview
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to transport individuals with developmental disabilities to and from their homes, day programs, job sites, and community activities. This role is essential in ensuring the safety, comfort, and timely transportation of our members.
Duties
- Safely transport members to scheduled locations (home, center, work, appointments)
- Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle as needed
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including seat belts and secure transport
- Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle
- Follow assigned routes and schedules
- Communicate with staff regarding delays or issues
- Complete transportation logs and required documentation
- Report any incidents or concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and fingerprint clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Dependable, punctual, and patient
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Article 9 training (or willingness to obtain)
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
