Driver waste hauler

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver Waste Hauler to join our team this spring In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a small waste collection pickup truck to efficiently pick up and transport waste materials and or recycling from designated locations. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a small pickup truck.
• Load and unload waste materials efficiently using manual lifting techniques
• Drive through assigned routes, collecting waste from residential or commercial sites while adhering to scheduled pickups.
• Maintain accurate logs of routes and pickups report any vehicle issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with the maintenance of trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and environmental guidelines during waste collection and transportation.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to read and write
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently.
• Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks associated with loading waste containers manually

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
