Driver/CDL/ Tree Service

Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class B Driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will not only have a valid CDL Class B license but will also possess skills in tree trimming and chainsaw operation. This role involves operating company trucks to transport equipment and personnel to job sites, as well as performing tree maintenance tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate CDL Class B trucks to transport equipment, tools, and crew to various job sites.
• Perform tree trimming and removal tasks, including the use of chainsaws and other specialized equipment.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and working on job sites.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of job sites, including handling and managing tree debris and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment used.
• Assist with other landscaping and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Heavy equipment experience

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class B driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in tree trimming and chainsaw operation is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tree service operations and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Previous experience working in a tree service or related field is a plus.
