Driving Instructor

• A clean driving record with no DUI offenses (minor citations are acceptable)
• Patience and the ability to effectively teach 15-17-year-old students
• Availability for at least two weekend days per month
• Previous teaching, coaching, or tutoring experience is preferred but not required
• Flexible hours, with 10-40 hours per week based on your availability
• To become a certified driving instructor in Minnesota, candidates must pass a background check and achieve an 80% or higher score on a test covering Minnesota driving laws (this may require 4-6 hours of study time)
• Primary driving instructor position available with the need to work after school hours (Monday-Friday after 3 PM) or on weekends. Any time during the summer or school breaks.

Compensation

• Weekend and evening lessons (Monday-Friday after 3 PM) are paid at $24 per hour
• Other hours are paid at $22 per hour
• Paid Training $300 bonus after certification is attained.
