What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated professional experience as a drone operator or aerial videographer, with a strong focus on commercial content production.
  
• A valid UAE drone licence, alongside a clear understanding of local aviation regulations and operating requirements.
  
• A well-curated portfolio showcasing high-quality aerial video and photography.
  
• Proven experience operating drones in urban, hospitality, or lifestyle environments.
  
• Proficiency in drone operation software, flight planning tools, and camera settings.
  
• Basic to intermediate video editing capability using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
  
• A solid understanding of safety procedures, risk assessment, and best practices in drone operations.
  
• Previous experience working within a luxury hospitality, lifestyle, or entertainment brand setting.
  
• Familiarity with social media content formats, platform requirements, and visual trends.
  
• Photography skills beyond drone operation, including composition and basic post-processing.
  
• Experience operating FPV drones is an advantage, but not essential.
  
• A Proactive Nature, coupled with a meticulous Eye for Detail, ensures every aspect of the Operation is perfectly curated.
  
• Exceptional Time Management and Multi-Tasking skills to effectively meet tight deadlines.
  
• Sensational Teamwork and Collaboration skills to work effectively within a group and across departments with Fellow ‘FIVERs.’
  
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the requirements of the Hotel.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, leveraging strong verbal and written skills to engage effectively with FIVE Tribe Members and stakeholders.
  
• A hands-on attitude, fuelled by a ‘Can-Do!’ Spirit.

Key Responsibilities

• Operates drones safely and professionally to capture high-quality aerial video and photography across hotels, lifestyle venues, events, and campaigns.
  
• Plans and executes drone shoots in line with approved marketing briefs, creative direction, and production schedules.
  
• Conducts thorough pre-flight planning, including location assessments, risk evaluations, and environmental checks to ensure safe operations.
  
• Captures aerial footage that supports brand storytelling while meeting technical and visual quality standards.
  
• Works closely with Marketing, Content, Social Media, and Creative teams to support campaigns, launches, and ongoing content needs.
  
• Contributes creative input on framing, movement, lighting, and sequencing to enhance visual storytelling.
  
• Ensures all captured footage aligns with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and platform requirements.
  
• Supports live events and special activations where aerial coverage is required, adapting to fast-paced environments when necessary.
  
• Edits drone footage when required, applying basic to intermediate post-production techniques.
  
• Applies colour correction and optimisation to prepare footage for use across social media, digital platforms, websites, and paid media.
  
• Organises, labels, and archives raw and edited footage to ensure assets are accessible and well-maintained.
  
• Delivers final content in multiple formats and resolutions according to project specifications.
  
• Ensures full compliance with UAE aviation regulations and drone operating laws at all times.
  
• Maintains valid drone licences, permits, and flight approvals required for commercial operations.
  
• Performs routine equipment checks, maintenance, and firmware updates to ensure reliability and safety.
  
• Maintains accurate flight logs and incident reports in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
