Drug store pharmacist

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and in compliance with prescriptions and legal regulations.
• Provide patient counseling on the safe and effective use of prescribed and over-the-counter medications.
• Review prescriptions to ensure dosage accuracy, potential drug interactions, and contraindications.
• Maintain proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels and manage ordering, receiving, and inventory control of medicines and supplies.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Ministry of Health (MOH) and other applicable authorities.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and assistants, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Keep up-to-date with new drugs, therapies, and regulations through continuous education.
• Handle controlled substances with strict adherence to record-keeping and reporting procedures.
• Promote public health awareness and contribute to wellness campaigns or community health programs.
