Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction on drums and guitar, utilizing various teaching techniques suitable for children, teens, and adults.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively through strong classroom management skills, ensuring a respectful and focused learning environment.
• Provide individual tutoring sessions to reinforce skills, address challenges, and track progress regularly.
• Incorporate creative activities such as photography or theater elements into lessons to enhance students’ artistic expression when appropriate.
• Adapt teaching strategies for students with special education needs or early childhood education requirements to promote inclusive learning.
• Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, and behavioral management notes to support ongoing development.

Experience

• Proven experience teaching drums and guitar to a diverse range of students across different age groups.
• Demonstrated ability in curriculum development tailored to varying skill levels and learning styles.
• Strong classroom experience with effective classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and engagement.
• Background in tutoring or one-on-one instruction with a focus on working with children or adults in educational settings.
• Familiarity with additional skills such as ballet, dancing, sewing, culinary arts, or theater is a plus for integrating multidisciplinary approaches into lessons.
• Experience working with students requiring special education accommodations or early childhood education is highly valued.
• Prior involvement in lesson planning that emphasizes childhood development principles and behavior management strategies.
