Dry Cleaning Attendant

Overview
Park Ave Cleaners is looking for two part time employees to work in a fast paced and growing business.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process garments for dry cleaning, laundry, and pressing, ensuring proper tagging and handling.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with garment inquiries.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, front counter, and customer waiting areas.
• Inspect garments for stains or damages and communicate with customers about special care instructions or repairs needed.
• Manage order completion timelines to ensure timely pickup and delivery of cleaned items.

Skills

• Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of dry cleaning processes, laundry techniques, and garment care.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction processing.
• Good cleaning skills to maintain a tidy workspace and uphold hygiene standards.
• Experience with cashiering systems or cash registers is a plus.
• Reliable team player with attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
