Job Overview

Manufacturing / Production / Industrial - Dry Roasting Machine Operator - 5 - 10 yrs experience - Negotiable in SAR. Position is exclusively open to India candidates.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor dry roasting machines to achieve desired color, texture, and flavor based on product type.
• Strictly follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.
• Set and adjust temperature, time, and airflow controls depending on nut variety and batch specification.
• Set up machines at the beginning of each shift to ensure they are in proper working order.
• Ensure machine performance is optimal by monitoring parameters throughout the shift.
• Inspect raw materials for quality before roasting; report any foreign matter or defects.
• Perform in-process checks for roast level, moisture content, and visual appearance.
• Inspect finished items for quality defects; remove and isolate non-compliant products.
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of roasting equipment and work area.
• Perform routine cleaning of machine parts to avoid contamination.
• Conduct PM and report faults or malfunctions to the maintenance team immediately.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and coordinate with support teams when required.
• Conduct safety checks at the beginning of each shift and before operating equipment.
• Educate and remind team members to exercise caution and follow safety procedures.
• Ensure full compliance with hygiene, food safety, environmental, and safety regulations.
• Prepare daily shift reports - quantity produced, machine running time, cleaning and changeover time, manpower utilized, rejects and surplus counts.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions by communicating operational updates to the incoming shift.
• Share relevant machine data, production status, issues encountered, and any pending actions.
• Supervise and guide subordinate workers assigned under the shift.
• Assign manpower based on production requirements and SKU complexity.
• Candidates should have experience in Food / Beverage / Nuts / Snacks Industries.

Qualifications

• Diploma, I.T.I., 10th - Others specialization.
• 5 - 10 yrs experience as a Dry Roasting Machine Operator.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Experience in Food / Beverage / Nuts / Snacks Industries.
