Dry Utilities Engineer

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/ Civil Engineering or equivalent.
    Minimum 4 years of experience in dry utilities design.
  • Knowledge of Dubai and Abu Dhabi authority standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D (for utilities corridors), andelectrical design software (Dialux, ETAP, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in amulti-disciplinary team.
  • Experience with international consultants/contractors in theUAE.
  • Previous approvals from DEWA, RTA, ADDC, TRANSCO, ITC.
Business Development

Startingto develop network of contacts.

Be an ambassador for the Company.

  • Support the design and development of dry utilities networks(power HV/LV, street lighting, telecom, and ITS).
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, load calculations,technical reports, and specifications.
  • Perform and oversee clash detection and corridor coordinationwith wet utilities, roads, and structural elements.
  • Develop and review tie-in connection designs with existingnetworks and coordinate approvals with relevant authorities.
  • Coordinate with UAE authorities such as DEWA, DM, RTA (Dubai)and ADDC, TRANSCO, ITC, ADM (Abu Dhabi) for NOCs and design approvals.
  • Ensure designs comply with authority regulations, HSEstandards, and project timelines.

  • Contribute to the developmentof company procedures by taking an active role in task groups.
  • Attend team meetings and playan active role in the development of procedures within your team.
  • Review and comment on companyprocedures using the feedback system.
  • Applying policies relating tohealth & safety, quality and training
QHSE Responsibilities
  • Understand, implement andfollow 9E QHSE policies.
  • Implement and coordinate QHSEprocedures in your workplace.
  • Comply with local regulatoryauthority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
  • Report any QHSE incidentsimmediately to 9E QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
  • Abide Client/Contractor QHSErequirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
