Drywall Estimator

We are a family owned drywall company seeking an experienced drywall estimator to join our team. The potential candidate would have experience with OST estimating software or similar software program. The candidate would have the ability to read and understand plans and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Prices out new requests based on project requirements and specifications.
• Attend on site walk thrus and meetings, if necessary.
• Aids in researching new sub and suppliers to keep the proposed number competitive
• Maintain supplier relationships
• Maintain master price lists
• Develop detailed line-item estimates
• Submit detailed proposals
• Ability to develop budgets once job is awarded
• Provide job information to superintendent for execution

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven work experience in drywall estimating.
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail while maintaining quality work.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving abilities.
• Positive attitude and willing to work in a team environment
• Ability to plan and price jobs with a "big picture" mind set.
• Must be proficient with computer skills and Microsoft programs

Monday through Friday. Pay based on experience!
