About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our remodeling team on water-damaged properties. Your core craft is making patches disappear—matching textures, taping/mudding, blending new drywall to existing so it looks like nothing was ever cut out. You’ll also assist the remodel crew with flooring and trim installs as needed (we’ll teach those tasks—only drywall finishing experience is required).

What You’ll Do

• Patch and finish drywall after mitigation cuts (ceilings/walls), including:
• Tape, mud, feather, sand, and final finish to paint-ready quality
• Match existing textures (orange peel, knockdown, skip trowel, smooth, etc.)
• Install backing, small board replacements, corner bead, and repairs
• Blend new surfaces to existing so transitions are invisible
• Coordinate with project managers and remodel leads on scope, schedule, and punch lists
• Set light containment, basic dust control, and site protection (plastic, floor protection)
• Assist remodeling team as needed:
• Basic trim/door casing/baseboard installs and punch
• Flooring support (LVP/laminate prep, underlayment, layout help)
• Keep a clean, safe work area; load/unload materials and maintain tools
• Document progress (photos, brief notes) via phone/app

Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven drywall finishing skills: patches, butt joints, inside/outside corners, texture matching
• Ability to produce paint-ready finishes with minimal sanding/touch-ups
• Knowledge of repair sequencing on water-damage jobs (after mitigation & drying)
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and punctuality
• Can lift 60+ lbs, climb ladders, and work on stilts/benches safely

Schedule & Conditions

• Monday–Friday, occasional evenings/weekends as needed by job timelines
• Indoor/outdoor residential/light commercial environments
• PPE provided; adherence to company safety standards required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
