Drywall Repair Technician and Finisher

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Repair Technician and Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing, finishing, and installing drywall in various residential and commercial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently on-site. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality building projects while expanding your expertise in multiple facets of construction.

Responsibilities

• Repair and finish drywall surfaces, including patching holes, smoothing joints, and applying texture as needed
• Install drywall panels on walls and ceilings according to project specifications
• Assist with water damage restoration and mold remediation projects when required
• Work collaboratively with other trades such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and electrical teams
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration

Requirements

• Proven experience in drywall and plaster repair, finishing, and removing and applying texture to walls and ceilings
• Skills in plastering, taping, finishing, and painting
• Experience with water damage restoration is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills and can follow a specific process to perform quality drywall repairs
• Outgoing, personable, and presentable
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license is required

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
