DSP Float Position in Tuscarawas County

Overview
As a DSP Float you must be able to do the following:

1) A float must work anytime, any shift needed up to 40 hours per week. This would mean he/she could be called in for early morning shift, afternoon shift ,midnights shift, weekend hours (days, afternoons,midnights) .

2) A float must be able to work at our homes in Tuscarawas county. Some sites may have individuals with challenging behavior; must be able to do total care regarding personal hygiene such as changing attends, etc.

3) A float must not work over 40 hours in a week unless approval is given by the Executive Director or her designee (Area Coordinator, Program Manager Supervisor, Program Coordinator, etc.).

4) When you have worked over 40 hours in one week, you must report this to the person calling you in to work so they can find another replacement when necessary.

5) The float must be willing to travel to different homes and work at a variety of sites with many different developmentally disabled individuals.

6) The float must keep track of his/her own hours. The supervisor will be the Area Coordinator, Program Manager Supervisor, or Program Coordinator as designated by the Executive Director.

11) The float must be trained at various sites. He/she is responsible for doing all paperwork as set forth in the ISP of the individual with whom they are working.

12) Employees in the Float Position who do not fulfill the obligations as listed in this job agreement will be removed from the position as a float.

13) In this float position, the Float must work 40 hours a week.

14) The float must be responsible for keeping time sheets for each individual or site where he/she works.

15) The float must be responsible for submitting time sheets at the end of the pay period to their Supervisor.

17) The float must attend all inservices and training sessions as requested by supervisor.

18) The float must keep current CPR and First Aid, MUI/UI training, Medication Administration training, etc. safety regulations and all other trainings required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.50 per hour
