Today, we are recruiting for a DSPM Testing & Commissioning Engineer (SCADA Systems) to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

• Develop & Commissions a technical discipline at the installation site.
• Review functional and technical specifications to understand what needs to be tested
• Collaborate with Delivery managers and T&C team to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Plan the required activities.
• Prepare reports and documentation of the results.
• Perform the commissioning of components, systems and solutions on site.
• Analyze the system behavior and the interaction of single elements.
• Execute the hand-over to the customer personnel and their briefing.
• Report on the test progress/challenges to the T&C Manager.
• Ensure adherence to organizational testing standards and best practices.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical power engineering.
• Having hands-on experience in SCADA systems, ideally in railway systems, electrical networks, auxiliary power systems.
• Minimum experience of 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Can work independently and maintain a structured and quality-driven work approach.
• Strong analytical abilities for interpreting test data and solving technical issues, experienced in coordinating complex testing schedules and collaborating with multiple stakeholders,
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working on site in international and multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent in English and Arabic is a must.
• Holding valid driving license.
• Worked Previously in Egyptian Mainline or Metro project is highly advantageous.
