Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate Dual Licensed Massage Therapist / Esthetician to join our wellness team at a premier Colorado hot springs spa. This role focuses on delivering exceptional massage and esthetic services that complement our natural hot springs experience, promoting relaxation, healing, skin care, and overall well-being for guests.

The ideal candidate is client-centered, professional, and passionate about holistic wellness in a serene, nature-inspired environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality massage therapy services, including (but not limited to):

  
  
• • Swedish
    
    
  • Deep Tissue
    
    
  • Hot Stone

  • Specialty or signature spa treatments

• Provide high-quality esthetic services, including (but not limited to):

  
  
• • Customized and anti-aging facials
  • Exfoliation treatments (microdermabrasion, dermaplane, and chemical peels)

  • Waxing

• Conduct client consultations to assess needs, preferences, and contraindications

  
  
• Customize treatments to align with guest wellness goals
  
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and tranquil treatment environment
  
  
• Uphold all sanitation, safety, and state licensing standards
  
  
• Educate guests on post-treatment care and wellness practices
  
  
• Accurately document services and client notes as required
  
  
• Collaborate with spa and front desk staff to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Represent the spa’s values of professionalism, wellness, and hospitality

Required Qualifications

• Current Colorado Massage Therapy License in good standing

  
  
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques
  
  
• Ability to perform massages for extended periods while standing and lifting as needed
• Current Colorado Esthetician License in good standing
• A passion for skincare
• Advanced facial massage techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Professional demeanor and strong attention to guest comfort

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Certification for peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning.

• Experience in a resort, spa, or wellness setting
  
  
• Training or certification in hot stone, prenatal, or specialty modalities
  
  
• Interest in holistic wellness, hydrotherapy, or natural healing practices
  
  

• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasons

  
  

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Warm, humid spa environment associated with hot springs

  
  
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
  
  

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (tables, stones, supplies)
