Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris to various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and load handling will ensure timely deliveries and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks with manual transmission safely across diverse routes and terrains
• Load and unload materials accurately using appropriate equipment such as front end loader
• Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with maintenance schedules
• Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, routes, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or tanker vehicles
• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery route driving and load & unload operations
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and familiarity with various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or roll-off trucks
• Ability to handle freight securely and efficiently while maintaining safety standards
• Experience with forklift operation is a plus for loading/unloading materials on-site
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving
• Excellent communication skills and a responsible attitude towards safety and punctuality

Pay: $18.00 - $29.85 per hour
