Dump Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Dump Truck Driver is to operate a tri-axle dump truck safely and efficiently to transport materials, such as asphalt, dirt, rocks, sand, and gravel, to and from construction sites, quarries, or other locations. The Dump Truck Driver will be responsible for inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues, ensuring that loads are properly secured, and following all traffic laws and regulations. This is an hourly paid position where primary work is completed on roadway construction sites. All trucks are very well maintained, 2021 or newer, automatics with cold air conditioning. Responsibilities:

● Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials to and from specified locations

● Secure loads using automatic tarp covers.

● Inspect trucks for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance (greasing, cleaning, etc.) as needed.

● Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety on the road

● Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked.

● Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers using radios or cell phones

● Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:

● Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record

● Previous experience operating dump trucks or similar vehicles preferred

● Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for operating commercial vehicles

● Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor as needed

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

● Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

● Willingness to work long hours and weekends if needed

● Able to pass an ongoing drug screening
