Duties

• Operate dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers with manual transmission or automatic options to transport materials such as gravel, debris, or freight.
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts or hydraulic systems.
• Drive route-specific deliveries while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols related to driving refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized trucks handling hazardous or sensitive materials.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or similar heavy-duty vehicles in freight or construction environments.
• Proficiency in manual transmission driving preferred; familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks is a plus.
• Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or other equipment when necessary.
• Strong knowledge of route driving regulations and safety standards for commercial driving.
• Prior experience in delivery driver roles involving freight transport across multiple sites.

Pay: $30.00 - $30.64 per hour
