Dump Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, and other bulk loads to various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving and route management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities

• Operate a dump truck
• Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring proper securing of cargo for safe transport.
• Follow designated routes driving through construction sites, industrial areas, or designated delivery zones while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels to ensure optimal operation.
• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, deliveries, fuel consumption, and maintenance needs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly..

Experience

• Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles such as tractor-trailers or freight trucks.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; specific endorsements like manual transmission experience are a plus.
• Prior delivery driver experience involving route driving and load & unload responsibilities.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to truck driving, freight handling, and equipment operation.
