Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, and other bulk loads to various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and load handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction, mining, or waste management projects with a focus on efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles such as roll-off trucks and tractor-trailers with precision and adherence to safety protocols
• Load and unload materials efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary
• Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of freight across multiple sites
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking fluid levels, brakes, tires, and safety features before each shift
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding route changes or delivery updates
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and company policies

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, or tanker trucks preferred
• Proficiency in manual transmission vehicle operation
• Knowledge of freight handling including load & unload procedures for various cargo types
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks
• Prior experience in route driving and delivery driver roles is highly desirable
• Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance
