Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport and deliver materials efficiently across various sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route planning, and vehicle maintenance will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of our logistics operations, supporting construction, mining, or waste management projects with energy and professionalism.

Duties

• Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles such as roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and tanker trucks to transport materials to designated locations.
• Follow planned routes diligently, adjusting as necessary to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles, checking brakes, tires, lights, fluid levels, and other critical components to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery times, and vehicle maintenance records for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
• Assist with the setup of refrigerated trailers or specialized equipment when required for specific freight types such as perishable goods or hazardous materials.

Experience

• Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles in a commercial driving environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of route driving, load securing techniques, and vehicle safety procedures.
• Familiarity with different trailer types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off containers.
• Ability to manually handle freight loading/unloading processes efficiently and safely.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle types operated (e.g., Class A or B).
• Experience with manual transmission trucks is preferred but not mandatory if willing to learn.
• Prior experience working with forklift equipment or other loading machinery is a plus. Join us in delivering excellence! Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
