Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate dump trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, and other freight to various job sites and disposal locations. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and safety protocols will ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction, demolition, or waste management projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks and related equipment safely and efficiently across diverse routes and terrains.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring secure handling of materials.
• Follow designated routes for delivery or disposal, adhering strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, cargo details, and delivery records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with loading or unloading freight when necessary, including handling specialized loads like refrigerated trailers or tanker materials.

Experience

• Proven experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or similar commercial vehicles in a professional setting.
• Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and the operation of refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to load & unload freight safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off mechanisms.
• Knowledge of route driving best practices along with adherence to safety protocols for commercial driving.
• Previous delivery driver experience involving freight movement across multiple locations is preferred.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to dump trucks; experience with tractor-trailers is a plus.

Pay: $25.41 - $30.00 per hour
