Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport and deliver materials efficiently across various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route navigation, and load management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles such as roll-off trucks and tractor-trailers to transport materials safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of materials including gravel, dirt, debris, or other construction supplies.
• Drive route-specific deliveries, adhering to schedules and optimizing routes for efficiency.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations and vehicle maintenance standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition.
• Follow all safety protocols related to manual transmission operation, refrigerated trailers, flatbed loads, tankers, and other specialized equipment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues promptly.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, or similar freight vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of truck driving regulations and safety procedures.
• Experience with load & unload operations using forklifts or other lifting equipment is a plus.
• Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely.
• Familiarity with route driving in urban or rural settings for timely deliveries.
• Physical stamina to load/unload freight manually when necessary; ability to work in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $220.00 - $240.00 per day

Work Location: On the road
