Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, and other bulk loads to various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving and route management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

• Operate dump trucks with manual transmission or automatic, ensuring safe handling and compliance with traffic laws and company policies
• Drive along assigned routes, delivering freight efficiently while adhering to scheduled timelines
• Inspect trucks before and after trips, conducting routine maintenance checks and reporting any mechanical issues promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks
• Strong knowledge of route planning and delivery procedures for freight transportation
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely
• Experience in delivering freight via flatbed, tanker, or refrigerated trailers is a plus
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
• Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatch teams and site personnel
