Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, and other bulk loads to various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and load handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities

• Safely operate dump trucks.
• Load and unload materials efficiently.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with all regulations.
• Follow planned routes accurately, adjusting as necessary for traffic or site conditions to meet delivery schedules.
• Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, loads, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including proper securing of loads and compliance with transportation laws related to refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, or similar heavy-duty vehicles.
• Familiarity with truck driving regulations.
• Experience with load & unload procedures.
• Knowledge of route planning and delivery scheduling to optimize efficiency.
