Dump Truck Driver

Duties

• Safely operate dump trucks, to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, or other demolition supplies
• Load and unload accurately while adhering to safety protocols
• Drive route-specific schedules efficiently while maintaining awareness of traffic laws, DOT and safety regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards
• Maintain detailed daily paperwork, fuel consumption, and maintenance needs for accountability and reporting purposes
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate deliveries, pickups, and route adjustments as needed for optimal efficiency

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles preferred
• Proven truck driving experience
• Familiarity with operating dump trucks, is highly desirable
• Ability to load & unload while following safety guidelines
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards related to commercial trucking operations
• Experience with tractor-trailers or heavy-duty trucks such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks is a plus
• Strong physical stamina for long hours on the road and handling heavy loads in various weather conditions

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
