Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks with manual transmission and other specialized vehicles such as roll-off trucks and flatbeds to transport construction materials, debris, or freight.
• Load and unload materials safely using appropriate equipment like forklifts or truck-mounted cranes when necessary.
• Follow designated routes for delivery and pickup, ensuring timely arrivals at multiple job sites or facilities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and inspection reports in compliance with company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers to coordinate schedules and address any logistical issues promptly.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations related to commercial driving, including handling refrigerated trailers or tanker trucks when required.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or similar heavy-duty vehicles in a commercial setting (Preferred)
• Skilled in manual transmission operation and familiar with route driving in diverse environments.
• Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using equipment such as forklifts or roll-off mechanisms.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to truck driving, freight handling, and vehicle maintenance.
• Experience with trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized trailers is a plus.
• MUST pass a background check.
