Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport and deliver construction materials, debris, or other freight to various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route navigation, and load management will ensure timely and safe deliveries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while maintaining high safety standards and operational efficiency. Candidate must have at least 2 years experience operating a dump truck with manual transmission. This is a full time, W-2 position.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate dump trucks equipped with manual transmissions, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload materials accurately.
• Transport freight, debris, or construction materials along designated routes, adhering to schedules and delivery deadlines.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels to maintain optimal vehicle performance.
• Maintain detailed logs of mileage, cargo weight, delivery times, and route information for record-keeping purposes.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently.

Skills

• Proven experience with truck driving, particularly in construction settings.
• Strong knowledge of operating manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean record and understanding of traffic regulations related to tractor-trailers and heavy-duty trucks.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring smooth operations.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
