Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, hot asphalt, millings, and other bulk loads to various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and load handling will ensure timely deliveries and smooth operations across multiple projects. Duties

• Operate Tri-Axle dump trucks with AUTOMATIC transmissions to transport materials efficiently.
• Load and unload material accurately at designated locations, ensuring proper securing of loads for safety during transit.
• Drive along assigned routes, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations while maintaining a focus on safety standards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly.
• Skills
• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving transportation across routes.
• Strong knowledge of tag axle operation and vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with operating specialized trucks such as dump trucks.
• Ability to load & unload materail efficiently while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving regulations is essential.
• Capable of handling various types of freight including bulk materials and heavy loads requiring securement techniques.
• Experience working with paving operations.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Experience:

• Dump truck: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CDL B or A (REQUIRED)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
