DUMP TRUCK DRIVER | CDL A

Responsibilities

  • Operate dump trucks with CDL A license to deliver materials safely and efficiently across construction sites.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of materials using equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, dozers, graders, and water trucks.
  • Conduct routine inspections of dump trucks and heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate delivery schedules and adapt to project needs promptly.
  • Support other heavy equipment operations, including Caterpillar machinery, horizontal drilling, tanker trucks, paving machinery, and more as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance purposes.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations to promote a secure work environment for yourself and team members.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience operating dump trucks in construction or similar heavy-duty environments.
  • Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and horizontal drilling machinery.
  • Hands-on experience with construction site operations involving Caterpillar equipment or similar brands.
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and machinery.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.
  • Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with various machinery such as tankers, paving machines, graders, and water trucks is highly preferred. Pay: From $28.00 per hour
