Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks with CDL A license to deliver materials safely and efficiently across construction sites.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials using equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, dozers, graders, and water trucks.
- Conduct routine inspections of dump trucks and heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate delivery schedules and adapt to project needs promptly.
- Support other heavy equipment operations, including Caterpillar machinery, horizontal drilling, tanker trucks, paving machinery, and more as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance purposes.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to promote a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating dump trucks in construction or similar heavy-duty environments.
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and horizontal drilling machinery.
- Hands-on experience with construction site operations involving Caterpillar equipment or similar brands.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and machinery.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.
- Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with various machinery such as tankers, paving machines, graders, and water trucks is highly preferred.
