Dump Truck Driver Tri Axle

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, or construction debris to designated locations.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
• Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities and types of materials transported.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport.
• Assist in loading materials onto the truck using forklifts or other equipment when necessary.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the dump truck.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for dump trucks.
• Proven experience as a Dump Truck Driver or similar role; experience with flatbed, tanker, tractor-trailer, or refrigerated trailer is a plus.
• Familiarity with route driving and freight handling procedures.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other loading equipment safely.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to vehicle operation and material transportation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
