Dump Truck Driver/Laborer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery and will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and asphalt to designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution.
• Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain accurate records of materials transported, including quantities and delivery locations.
• Assist in the operation of additional heavy machinery as needed, including backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, graders, tankers, water trucks, and horizontal drilling equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating vehicles and machinery on job sites.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a dump truck driver or in a similar role within the construction or transportation industry.
• Familiarity with operating heavy machinery such as backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, graders, tankers, and water trucks is preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.05 - $37.30 per hour
