Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team as an Opening Shift Crew Member for shifts that start at 4:30 AM. As an essential part of our restaurant operation, you will be responsible for opening duties, preparing the store for the day, and ensuring a smooth start to our customers’ experience. Duties

• Open the store promptly at 4:30 AM, ensuring all opening procedures are completed efficiently
• Prepare beverages and food items, utilizing coffee experience and food handling skills to deliver quality products
• Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and register management
• Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing their needs with enthusiasm
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and spaces
• Manage cash register operations, including cashiering, basic math calculations, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
• Restock supplies, organize merchandise, and prepare the store for the busy hours ahead

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge preferred; familiarity with food service is a plus
• Experience with POS systems preferred
• Strong time management skills to handle opening procedures efficiently in early morning hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math tasks
• Experience in food preparation, serving, or retail environments is desirable
• Reliable attendance and punctuality for early morning shifts are essential

Pay: $12.77 - $13.50 per hour
