Job Overview

Lotus Polyclinic at Ponmar is looking for a responsible and patient-focused duty doctor to manage daily OPD, attend walk-in patients, and coordinate with specialists as required during day shift timings (9 am to 5 pm).

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and consult OPD patients and provide primary medical care.
• Take a detailed medical history and perform basic clinical examinations.
• Prescribe medicines, investigations, and minor procedures as required.
• Coordinate with senior consultants/specialists for referrals when needed.
• Maintain patient records, prescriptions, and progress notes properly.
• Handle basic emergencies until specialist care is arranged.
• Ensure professional, polite, and ethical interaction with all patients.

Required Qualification & Skills

• MBBS from a recognized university.
• Valid registration with the State/Indian Medical Council.
• Freshers and experienced doctors can apply.
• Good clinical knowledge and interest in OPD practice.
• Strong communication skills in Tamil and basic English.
• Preferably residing in or near Ponmar / Medavakkam / Mambakkam / Ottiyambakkam / Vandalur surroundings.
