Duty Engineer

• Supervise day-to-day operation of hotel engineering systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, lifts, DG sets, STP/ETP, BMS, fire & safety systems).
• Attend and resolve guest room maintenance complaints promptly and professionally.
• Conduct routine inspections of plant rooms, guest areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance as per schedule and log all activities.
• Handle emergency breakdowns and take immediate corrective action.
• Monitor energy consumption and support energy-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire, health, and local statutory regulations.
• Supervise technicians and outsourced contractors during the shift.
• Maintain shift logs, reports, and handover notes accurately.
• Support renovation, repair, and minor project works when required.
• Strong knowledge of hotel engineering systems
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work under pressure and in shifts
• Good communication and team leadership skills
• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Hotel Engineering
• 2–5 years of experience in a luxury or 5-star hotel environment
• Knowledge of fire safety systems and local compliance norms preferred
