Duty Engineer – Relocate in Maldives

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Duty Engineer to join our resort engineering team in the Maldives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of resort equipment and building systems, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all engineering facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain all resort engineering systems and equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and water treatment systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns efficiently.
• Ensure generators, pumps, chillers, and other critical systems are operating effectively.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintain maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Coordinate with other departments to support resort operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, generators, pumps, and resort equipment.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to relocate to the Maldives.
